Champions of the STA Fall Kickoff Tournament!  August 28-30, 2015
My first tournament with my new team, Rio Red.  Everyone has been aweseome.  I played mostly wide in midfield, and a little in forward.  So happy for the opportunity!  No goals for me this first time out, but I played good, physical soccer against physical teams.
The next day, we hosted a pool and pizza party for the team.  What a great start to the season!

Goal and Hat Trick in NPL League Debut! Rio v. Princeton, Sept. 12, 2015
We played two games against Princeton for the season opener on September 12, 2015.
This was my first league appearance with Rio Red.  I was so happy and grateful not only to play with this new team of fantastic players and friends, but to play both games in my league debut.

I scored a goal in the first game, and a hat trick in the second!  We won both games - 6-0 and 6-2.
884 Juggles! September 19, 2015
I could have kept going but my phone dropped from my waist band into the back of my leggings!
Goal in 2-0 Victory against NY Soccer Club, Sept. 26, 2015
Crazy how the first shot hit the cross-bar and bounced just outside the goal, and then my volley ALSO hit the crossbar but bounced just inside the goal.  A lot of bouncing on the way to a goal!
Whistle While You Juggle - 147 juggles in 1 min!

Goal in 1-0 Victory against Match Fit , October 4, 2015
Great teamwork with thread-the-needle pass from Sarah, to Landry, to Alexa, and cross back to Sarah to put it in for the goal!
Four Goals and One of Several Assists at the EDP Cup!  Oct. 10-11, 2015
One of my goals was a P-K, and the assist on the video was to Landry.  :-)
We won two games and tied the team that made the final - they got to because they scored more goals against the teams they beat.  So we played the consolation round and finished third place.  A very strong showing for STA!

Two Goals (or was it three?), Including a Header!
Rio v Princeton, October 17, 2015
My header in this game may be my all time favorite goal!
Look closely at the third goal.  In slo-mo it looks like my teammate popped it up and to the left, and a first defender deflected it down and toward the goal.  The ball was rolling flat on the ground when a second defender got her foot in front of it and I slid-kicked it so it hopped over her foot.  You can see it rolling flat in slo-mo and then hopping up as my foot makes contact.  Did I score a goal here, or was it already over the line?  Either way, it counted as a goal for our team!

Goal Called Offsides - Rio v Manhattan, October 25, 2015
This goal unfortunately was called offsides, but as the video clearly shows, I was onsides when my teammate last touched the ball.  Oh well!  At least my team agrees it was a good goal  :-)  ... by the way, great pass Kaitlyn!!
Tying Goal - Rio v Stallions, November 8, 2015
Bad video, but it was a good goal!  Beautiful pass, MacKenzie!
